Having been living in 9 different countries on three continents, I always try to make a strong connection between my new home and myself. One of the things that helps me to adjust to living in a new city is finding special places and making them mine.
Today I want to share with you my favourite place…
This place is the riverside area in Warsaw. As I’m not from Polish capital originally, and I have spent there in total only 2 years of my life, this city became my second home and I truly enjoy coming back there.
There are plenty of unique and beautiful places in Warsaw, yet there is something special about the riverside. It’s a place where you can go jogging in the morning and chill in the afternoon, go for a walk and have a drink with your friend. This is the place where you can stop for a moment, forgetting about fast pace of the city. Being in the heart of Warsaw and at the same time connecting with nature.
And there is one special place there – a bar called Cud nad Wisłą. It reminds me about all these special moments I have had there and deep conversations with my friends. The place that is somehow magic you can feel there completely free, and fully connected to your life, just happy.
This is my magic place. What is yours?
